How are the courses structured?
Each course is instructor-led and takes 8 weeks to complete. All courses are 100% online.
How many courses are required for the certificate?
For each certificate, you need to pass four courses. Each course is equal to three credits.
Are there breaks between courses?
There is approximately 1 week in between terms.
How many credits are required for the full Master’s degree from Waldorf University?
Each Master’s program at WU consists of 36 credits. Students who earn their graduate certificate through Accelerated Pathways first will transfer 12 credits into their corresponding graduate program.
Are the courses synchronous or asynchronous?

Will there be certain times when I have to attend a class? If so, and I can't be there, what will happen?
No, you will not need to attend class online. All work will be completed in an asynchronous environment.
What are the grade requirements for the graduate certificate?
Students must earn a 3.0 GPA in each course.
How many hours a week should I plan to dedicate to my studies?
For every semester hour, one hour is spent in class and two hours studying, so students should plan on 9-12 hours of study per week for each course.
Can I get through the courses faster than the course dates?
You will be required to follow your course calendar and participate in weekly discussion boards. Working ahead will depend fully on the content of the course and the professor's requirements of you as the student.
Is there financial aid available for the graduate certificates and/or the Master’s programs?
Financial aid is not available for credits earned through Accelerated Pathways, but when you continue your graduate studies directly at Walforf University to complete the Master's program you can explore financial aid opportunities through Waldorf University.
What are the 2023 start dates?
There are is a start date every month. Your advisor can provide exact start dates for you to choose from.
